Run Overview

Today was a very humid and hot day. I went for a run on an empty stomach and after 20 minutes into the run started to feel hungry and weak. Thus, I had to slow down to let my energy consumption of carbohydrates switch to fat. It takes about 10-15 minutes to do that, while in that time period you feel very weak and want to just stop running. Your body needs time to get used to using fat as an energy source. I have not run for 4 weeks and now need to get back in that zone. Overall it was a good run, no injuries and no pain in the knee.
