Run Overview
Today is a Sunday and my long run. I woke up around 6:50am and went downstairs as quietly as possible so that I wouldn't wake any body up. The sun was getting up and it definitely looked like a great to start. But I didn't really feel that great. Felt exhausted, confused and stressed for some reason. Still, I brushed off my feelings and just followed my morning routine. Use bathroom, brush my teeth, and start dressing up for the run. Drink tall glass of water with added electrolytes. Have one piece of white sourdough bread. And today I decided to try something new. Have a whey protein shake before the run. I mixed the vanilla shake in a cup of water and added some creamer for taste. I tasted alright, but I felt a little bloated during my run. I really didn't feel that great today running. It was strong run, but I just felt still sleepy, tired and bloated. Thinking that I need to wake up a little earlier next time to give myself at least an hour to get ready and fully wake up before the run. Overall, I am glad I went and did this. I finished the run, and did what was planned.
