Run Overview

With 3 weeks left to my race today was my longest run leading to peak. After this I will be cutting down weekly milage as I get closer to the race day and probably take it very easy the week prior to race. Today I did everything as in other Sunday's, wake up at 5 am, cup of coffee with plain piece of bread. Glass of water with half of teaspoon of salt. Use a bathroom, stretch, weigh my self, and put my gear up. Use a bathroom again. Get my fueling Gels and out of the door. Today I had 7 Gels, one right before leaving the house and 6 with me. Take them every 30 mins or so. Oh boy, they do help. I didn't have any water with me because running with a bottle in my hands just sucks. But, it does make me loose a lot of weight. Today I lost over 10 lbs... that's if my scale doesn't lie... Of course I replenish my liquids and back at my normal. I left my phone and earbuds at home, I don't listen to anything when I do race's, so this is my prep to it. For my Gel's I got a box of 24 Honey Stinger Energy Gel from Amazon. I like the Honey Singer brand, they go down very smooth and no upset stomach. Win. Win. Honey Stinger Organic Acai Pomegranate Energy Gel | Gluten Free & Caffeine Free | For Exercise, Running and Performance | Sports Nutrition for Home & Gym, Pre and Mid Workout | 24 Pack, 26.4 Ounce

The idea I wanted to mention after this run is in regards to Scarcity.
