If you’re new here, welcome.

AlexRun is a place where I document my running journey and reflect on what running teaches me about habits, health, and living well over time. It’s not a program or a system. It’s an honest record of showing up, paying attention, and learning as I go.

You don’t need to be a runner to be here.
You don’t need to start anything today.
This page is simply a place to orient yourself.

Why Running Is the Focus

Running became a habit that helped everything else fall into place.

It helps me feel better. It clears my head. It brings structure to my days and reminds me that small efforts, repeated consistently, matter. Some runs feel great. Some feel slow or uncomfortable. Almost all of them leave me better than when I started.

That’s why running is the thread that ties this site together. Not because it’s perfect or easy—but because it’s simple, honest, and revealing.

What You’ll Find Here

AlexRun is organized around a few core areas:

  • Running Journal
A chronological record of my ongoing running—training days, reflections, and what consistency actually looks like in real life.
  • Marathon Training
Longer-term training cycles, race preparation, and reflections on structure, patience, and progress.
  • Healthy Living
Thoughts on habits that support health and longevity beyond the miles—recovery, balance, and staying capable as life changes.

Everything here is shared from experience, not expertise.

How to Use This Site

There’s no right order.

You can follow along week by week, jump into a training cycle, or read a single post that catches your attention. Take what’s useful. Leave what isn’t. Let it sit if it needs to.

If running is already part of your life, a lot of this may feel familiar.
If it isn’t yet, my hope is that this space makes it feel more approachable—less intimidating and more possible.

What “Live Next Level” Means Here

For me, Live Next Level isn’t about doing more or pushing harder.

It’s about:

  • Feeling better more often
  • Building habits that support health and clarity
  • Staying consistent long enough for progress to compound

Running just happens to be where those lessons show up most clearly.

Where to Go Next

If you’re not sure where to begin:

  • Start with the Running Journal to see what’s happening now
  • Explore Marathon Training for a longer arc
  • Read Healthy Living for habits beyond running

Or simply pick a recent post and start there.

Thanks for being here and taking the time to look around.
